High standards.Shoestring budget.
Three pre-rolls — a sativa, a hybrid and an indica, ten to a pack. And a website that took an afternoon, because the pre-rolls are the part that matters.
What we spend the money on
- Whole flower. No trim.
- Whole flower goes into every pre-roll. Not shake, not trim, not the sweepings.
- Hand-finished. Every single one.
- Every joint in every tube is finished by hand. Ten to a pack, three products, no exceptions.
- That's it.
- Not the packaging. Not the flash. Not the marketing. Not this website.
The products

| Product | Format | Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Sativa | Pre-roll, 0.5 g | 10 |
| Hybrid | Pre-roll, 0.5 g | 10 |
| Indica | Pre-roll, 0.5 g | 10 |
That's the full catalogue. There is no fourth one.
So where does it actually go?
Government collects more than twice what we and the shop have left once all our costs are paid — added together.
Half the pack is real costs. A third is tax. What's left over is the smallest share of the three. Figures are Alberta.

Here is what it doesn't have.
- Custom typefacenot purchased
- Stock photographynone — those are the actual tubes
- Homepage videonot filmed
- Scroll animationsnot written
- Chat widgetnot installed
- Loading spinnernothing to wait for
- Tracking scriptsnone
- Pop-up newsletterwe decided against it
None of that would have made the pre-rolls any better, so we didn't build it.
Where to get them
Shoestring is sold through licensed cannabis retailers. Which ones carry it depends on your province and your store.
